This is a great jacket. Single piece back. Lightly insulated for warmth. Side entry hand warmer pockets. Two inside pockets. Inside pen pockets. Side panels to prevent rise. Riveted grommets under arms for ventilation. Collar stand. Locker loop. All the extra little details that are usually offered with more expensive, authentic replicas.
This is the best value for an American produced leather jacket. You will not find a better bargain. Completely impervious to wind, rain, sleet, and snow. This jacket will brave the elements of fighting in waterfront bars, riding motorcycles, driving Jeeps, racing in convertibles, and flying in open air cockpits. No other garment epitomizes the pursuit of happiness. Lose yourself in the romance of freedom that a jacket like this promises.
For collectors and purist, only horse hide will do. Some have settled for the modern era spec of goat skin. I've owned jackets in a variety of leathers from lambskin to suede, and the much sought after horse hide & goat skin. This top grain cowhide appears to be thicker, more durable, and warmer.
